Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain overall cleanliness of assigned areas.
- Sanitize and maintain equipment.
- Set up and move furniture as needed.
- Perform major floor care and carpet care tasks.
- Support and fill in for Housekeeping Supervisory staff.
- Train and support staff members.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required
- Thorough understanding of hospital and departmental infection control procedures.
- Ability to adjust to cleaning schedules as necessary.
- Knowledge and capability to perform required projects such as stripping and refinishing.
- Ability to supervise and train housekeeping staff.
- Pass department project work written test and demonstrate proficiency in project work.
Education Required
- Read, write, and follow written and oral directions at the 12th grade level.
Pay Range
$17.83 - $31.52 per hour.
