The Texas State Aquarium provides high-quality, entertaining programming through education, conservation, and wildlife rehabilitation. We strive to provide guests with an exciting, educational, and memorable experience in a one-of-a-kind setting showcasing the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax, and vacuum facility and office spaces.
• Follow established procedures for preparing the facility for opening each day.
• Follow established inventory procedures.
• Provide excellent guest services while regularly inspecting the facility to ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain open lines of communication with all departments to ensure proper cleanliness of the facility during operating hours.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Set up and tear down tables and chairs.

Requirements

• Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training is required.
• An equivalent combination of education or experience may also meet the required qualifications.
