Housekeeper - Harbor Inn (Independent Living)

About the role

Perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain Presbyterian Villages- Harbor Inn resident apartments and ranch homes and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all common areas including, but not limited to, area lobby, vestibule, hallways, lounges, reception areas, restrooms, storage and supply areas, floors, offices, and elevators.
• Clean and maintain resident apartments and ranch units as assigned and/or as vacated so that health standards are met.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Wash windows, blinds, walls, ceilings, woodwork, etc. as necessary.
• Replenish bathroom items.
• Wash and disinfect using approved cleaning solutions.
• Wash and disinfect bathroom and kitchen fixtures/appliances, rails, and push buttons using approved cleaning solutions.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean rugs and carpets using spot treatments.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides.
• Maintain adequate levels/quantities of supplies by reporting accurate inventory to manager/lead for replenishment.
• Attend and participate in all appropriate meetings and training opportunities in order to keep informed on current information and skill development.
• Follow established policies and procedures including but not limited to Presbyterian Villages policies and procedures, safety policies and procedures, federal, state and local regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate, General Education Degree (GED) or currently enrolled in program if under 18.
