Housekeeper – Grand Gardner Hotel

About the role

The Housekeeper position at the Grand Gardner Hotel is responsible for maintaining the impeccable aesthetic and cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring every visitor experiences a pristine and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest suites according to exacting standards, including stripping and remaking beds with fresh linens, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Replenish guest amenities, manage individual carts, and identify any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Employ the "S.E.A.C." method to provide warm and professional interactions with guests in hallways and common spaces.

Requirements

• Proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to the high standards of a luxury boutique environment.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for up to 10 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive movements such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Able to follow specific chemical safety protocols and bloodborne pathogen procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and guest services.
• Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and supplies.

Pay

$14.84/hour - $18.00 per hour depending on experience.
