Responsibilities
- Clean and service patient rooms, offices, lavatories, conference rooms, lounges, exam rooms, clean and dirty utility rooms, showers, and common areas daily and/or as scheduled.
- Maintain cleaning equipment, carts, and porter/janitor closets daily.
- Follow safe practices with regard to all cleaning products, chemicals, equipment, and their proper usage and dilution ratios as per manufacturer's recommendations.
- Responsible for complete cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms upon discharge.
- Respond to reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Notify supervisor immediately of any injuries, accidents, or safety concerns.
- Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
- Cross-trained in both porter and laundry associate duties, filling in for same as directed.
- Maintain a safe and caring environment, delivering care in a culturally sensitive manner consistent with Wellbridge mission, vision, and values.

Essential Functions
- On-site role for patient care needs, conducting housekeeping duties in patient and facility areas.
- Consistently moves about facility areas for housekeeping purposes.
- Requires repetitive motion and ability to handle cleaning chemicals.
- Ascends/descends ladders and stairs, and positions self to clean above and under areas.
- Moves supplies up to 25 pounds with or without assistance; push/pull cleaning carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Working beyond scheduled hours and weekends occasionally required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience providing cleaning services in the restaurant, healthcare, hospital, hotel, hospitality, or similar industry a plus.
- Skills in stripping, waxing, buffing floors, spot cleaning, and carpet cleaning preferred.
- Experience working with an addiction population preferred.
- Must be able to communicate in English; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- A pleasant and courteous demeanor when dealing with peers, supervisors, patients, visitors, and management.
