About the Role

The Maid Service Attendant is responsible for safely performing housekeeping duties as assigned by management. Quality service is expected to be provided to customers at all times. This position requires knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the job.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned by management.
• Provide quality service to customers at all times.
• Follow Air Force Lodging Standards.
• Work at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson Air Force Base, Anchorage, AK.

Requirements

• Ability to understand oral and/or written instructions.
• Ability to follow multi-step instructions.
• Ability to interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and team members.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).
• Must pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, and drug tests as appropriate.

Skills

• Knowledge of Air Force Lodging Standards.
• Willingness to learn all aspects of the job.

• May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions.
• Most work will take place indoors.
• May work with cleaning chemicals.
• Will be required to follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements.

Pay

The hourly rate will be $25.08.

Schedule

• May require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours.
• May require working weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive), and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
