Housekeeper (Full-Time)

About the role

Edenbrook St. Cloud, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is a skilled nursing facility seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper for their wonderful skilled nursing facility. The position is available Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with every other weekend and every other holiday required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms and other areas of the facility.
• Safely mixes and uses cleaning solutions and stores in a secure area.
• Labels and removes infectious waste bags and containers.
• Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and facility staff.
• Knowledge of infection control techniques.
• Ability to be patient and polite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills.
