Oxford Casino Hotel, located in Oxford, Maine, is part of Churchill Downs Incorporated and has seen significant growth since it opened in 2012. The casino offers 23 table games and over 900 slot machines, features two restaurants (the Ox Pub and the Oxford Express), and a 107‑room hotel with six suites. Maintains the cleanliness of the property.

Responsibilities

• Responds to request for cleaning and/or basic maintenance throughout the property.
• Observes and reports on conditions which require attention and/or repair.
• Maintain high level of cleanliness for public areas of the property.

Skills

• Remove trash to appropriate areas.
• Utilizes assigned equipment including but not limited to; vacuums, trash compactors, and carpet shampoos.
• Maintains inventory of custodial supplies.
• Effectively uses safety equipment and follows all safety and health procedures when using chemicals and other equipment.
• Perform other jobs as assigned by the direction of management.
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

• May need to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Work may involve climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• The work environment may include exposure to prolonged loud noise and sometimes close quarters.

Pay

Pay range: $16.50 – $20.00 per hour.
