Shift: Evening – 3:00 pm – 11:30 p.m. (with every other weekend commitment)
About the role
The Housekeeper performs housekeeping duties for the hospital’s Environmental Services Department, ensuring a safe and clean environment by following established procedures and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine cleaning service to assigned areas, predominantly nursing units.
- Dust and wet mop floors, vacuum, dust and damp wipe surfaces, wall washing, trash collection and removal.
- Clean restrooms, patient areas, and non-clinical areas.
- Sort, load, and unload linen into and from dryers.
- Feed/receive linen into or from ironer/folder.
- Fold and stack linen and load cart.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalency (preferred).
- 1-2 years of EVS/Housekeeping experience.
- Ability to speak Spanish fluently is preferred.
