Housekeeper - Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton

About the role

The Hotel Housekeeper position at Courtyard by Marriott, Hamilton, NJ involves providing professional and courteous service, cleaning and maintaining all public areas, guest rooms, storage areas, and administrative areas. Additional responsibilities include running supplies and service items to guestrooms as requested, polishing metalwork and furniture, collecting linens for laundering, receiving and storing linen supplies, and refurnishing areas with supplies as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service at all times
• Clean and maintain all public areas, guest rooms, storage areas, and administrative areas
• Run supplies and service items to guestrooms as requested
• Polish metalwork and furniture
• Collect linens for laundering and receives and stores linen supplies in appropriate locations
• Refurnish areas with supplies as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to work various shifts per week
• Detail-oriented
• Able to communicate effectively and courteously in person

Qualifications

• Ability to operate Briad systems and software
• May occasionally require lifting luggage up to 50 pounds
