About the role

A Housekeeper supports general resort operations by cleaning resort units and maintaining quality standards. This role involves cleaning sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms, as well as vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, making beds, replenishing supplies, sorting, counting, folding, marking, or carrying linens, and maintaining positive customer and associate relationships. The Housekeeper also responds to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Clean sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms
  • Vacuum, dust, and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies
  • Maintain and adhere to housekeeping detail standards
  • Replenish supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries
  • Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens
  • Respond to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction
  • Handle guest issues to resolution in an effort to improve the guest experience

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Possess ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude with a team focus
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

Pay

Generally starting at $26.00 - $26.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, training, and work location.

Schedule

Flexible schedule to accommodate resort operations, including weekends and evenings.
