Housekeeper - Behavioral Health Hospital PRN

About the role

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is a psychiatric facility offering substance‑abuse and mental‑health services to adults, seniors, and adolescents. The Environmental Services Technician (Housekeeping) works on a PRN basis to maintain clean, safe, and orderly patient rooms, offices, and public areas, supporting the hospital’s commitment to high‑quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping routines, including cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas.
• Remove trash and waste from designated areas.
• Make beds and ensure linens are properly arranged.
• Dust furniture, clean windows, and keep bathrooms clean.
• Replenish supplies in patient rooms and common areas.
• Maintain a safe, risk‑preventive environment throughout the facility.
• Support the organization’s Service Excellence culture and standards for all customer groups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hospital and/or hotel environmental services experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, and reach while working.
• Availability during inclement weather to maintain roads and grounds for uninterrupted, safe operations.
