Welch Community Hospital, located in Welch, West Virginia, is the only acute care hospital in McDowell County. This hospital provides a wide scope of care and services, which includes a 55-bed acute care hospital, a 24/7, 365 days per year physician-staffed Emergency Room, an eight-bed ICU, full service Respiratory Therapy Cardiopulmonary department, Laboratory, Radiology, and Clinical Inpatient Pharmacy. The hospital also operates an outpatient Rural Health Clinic, a Surgery Clinic, an OB/GYN staffed Women’s Health Clinic, and a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Training Center. Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitation of the physical environment in the assigned area, meeting performance standards set for the position.
- Stocking, delivering, and storing linens.
- Sweeping, mopping, buffing, waxing.
- Cleaning windows.
- Sanitizing bathrooms.
- Pulling trash.
- Performing other related tasks as assigned.

- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Successful completion of a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test.
- Subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau policies.
