Housekeeper

About the Role

Join our team at Homestead Resort in Lynden as a Part-Time Housekeeper. We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to help keep our busy, year-round timeshare resort shining for our owners and guests. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is a must.

Responsibilities

• Removing debris from guest rooms and common areas, including trash, recycling, and linens.
• Handling bed and bathroom linens: changing, collecting, transporting to laundry, and restocking clean linens.
• Cleaning all floor surfaces—vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and steaming as needed.
• Dusting and cleaning surfaces, mirrors, artwork, furniture, doors, and windows.
• Sanitizing bathrooms, including toilets, tubs, sinks, showers, and floors.
• Cleaning kitchens, appliances, and dishes; disposing of spoiled items and restocking supplies.
• Reporting maintenance needs, damaged items, or any changes in guest rooms to supervisors.
• Keeping housekeeping storage and common areas clean and organized.
• Assisting with inventory verification and following all procedures for chemicals and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Pay

$19 - $21 USD per hour, with potential increase after the 90-day introductory period.

Schedule

Part-time. Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays.
