Housekeeper
Job Responsibilities
- Must consistently meet quality and timeliness standards in the cleaning of all assigned rooms.
- Strip units and remove all trash.
- Clean units including but not limited to bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, decks.
- Bathrooms - Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes.
- Bedrooms - Strip and make beds, change bed linens, which may require lifting of all soiled linen.
- Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets, drapes, furniture and linens.
- Consistently maintain unit inspection score of 80% or above as dictated by established by the resort.
- Ensures proper use of all equipment and supplies following established procedures.
- Immediately reports Lost & Found items following established procedures.
- Work in a team environment and assist with other duties as necessary.
- Ensures all inventory is in each unit.
- Replenishes houseware supplies as needed.
- Cleans entire unit inside and outside.
- Empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays.
- Assists in the training of fellow employees as it pertains to their area.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
- Ability to manage time and complete tasks efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
- Good physical stamina; able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
- Follows safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Friendly, professional, and respectful with guests and team members.
- Understands and respects guest privacy and property.
- Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push and or/move up to 35 pounds.
- Able to communicate basic information clearly.
