About the role
The Center at Foresight is seeking a housekeeper to assist in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Mop and disinfect floors, beds, restrooms, bathrooms
- Wipe down walls, phones, work stations
- Vacuum, remove trash, dust
- Clean dining room
- Clean patient's room on a daily basis, both occupied and unoccupied
- Occasionally wear PPE and clean/disinfect areas contaminated with bodily fluids
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Experience: At least 1 year housekeeping experience in a skilled care facility (preferred)
- Requirements: Must be able to take instruction and follow directions, self-starter, good communication skills, read, write, and speak English, bend, reach, stoop, lift minimum of 15 lbs, and crawl. Must also pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
