Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Pay

$21.00-22.00 an hour, with bonuses and annual raises.

About the role

The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness and neatness of assigned apartments and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
• Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is essential to the safety of our residents and staff and to the operation and function of the community. Employee may be recalled to report to work for an emergency, unusual occurrence, resident care need, visit from regulatory/governing agencies, or any other event deemed necessary by the Executive Director, Administrator, and designee.

Requirements

• At least one year of previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, or retirement community.
• High school graduate.
• Current driver’s license.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Skills

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively with residents, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Ability to multitask, work on projects while answering phones and greeting visitors.
• Friendly, courteous, and helpful attitude toward residents and the public.
• Basic knowledge of computer programs.
• Reliability and adherence to safety procedures.
