About the role
St. Barnabas Nursing Home is seeking experienced Housekeepers to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning, mopping, and disinfecting restrooms daily.
- Restocking all paper products and soaps.
- Daily cleaning to include vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, restrooms, kitchens, and removing all trash to outside containers.
- All common areas: daily vacuuming of all carpeted areas, removal of stains, carpet cleaning as needed, mop all tile/hard surfaces daily.
- Maintain and clean equipment daily to report any repairs to supervisor.
- Attend required in-service education training and staff meetings.
- All other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Ability to interact with team members, other staff, and residential clientele.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sit/stand).
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Must be able to navigate and move around the facility to provide cleaning services.
