Housekeeper
About the Role
Southern Land Company, a national real estate development and construction firm, is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our dynamic team in Philadelphia, PA. Josephine is offering an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about providing world-class customer service in a twenty-seven-story luxury apartment building featuring 254 residences and best-in-class amenities.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning common areas, resident apartments, and guest suites as scheduled
- Utilize cleaning equipment and supplies (16 oz. wet mops, small wringers, dusters, household-type vacuums, other necessary supplies)
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of practical experience in housekeeping
- Professional standard of appearance
- Weekend hours required
- Ability to lift/move 15 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. occasionally
- Fair Housing training
Skills
- Ability to keep sensitive information highly confidential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to take initiative, use good judgment, and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and ask for clarification when necessary
- Ability to work under pressure with tight time constraints, frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
- Ability to anticipate housekeeping needs of the property
