Housekeeper

Position Summary

Perform day-to-day housekeeping activities as directed to ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and carpets
• Clean walls, ceilings, windows, and bathroom fixtures
• Dispose of trash and infectious waste in accordance with regulations
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and supplies
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions to supervisor
• Assist with room readiness for new admissions
• Use proper PPE and cleaning chemicals safely

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with residents, staff, and visitors
• No experience required – on-the-job training provided

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Perform repetitive motions and work in various areas of the facility
