About the role

Responsible for ensuring optimum property cleanliness and presentation at Rosie’s Gaming Emporium – New Kent.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of carpets, windows, gaming machines, offices, restrooms, and outdoors as directed by the Lead EVS Attendant and/or Facilities Supervisor.
• Follow checklists and guidelines for efficient and clean operation of assigned areas.
• Attend and participate in pre‑shift briefings and arrive on time.
• Adhere to OSHA and Hazcom safe work practices.
• Assist with receiving equipment and supplies, coordinating distribution and storage.
• Maintain storage areas, equipment maintenance, and chemical labeling.
• Monitor equipment condition and use equipment correctly to ensure proper maintenance.
• Ensure all storage areas are labeled and kept in good order.
• Resolve problems within scope of authority and recommend actions for issues beyond scope to supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three to six months of experience in a related field preferred; other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform frequent movements such as bending, kneeling, and climbing.
• Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in moderate to loud noise levels and environments with crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.

Skills

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a high‑volume hospitality environment.

Pay

$15.00 per hour.

Work may include long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays, with exposure to moderate to loud noise and variable crowd levels.
