Housekeeper

Maintaining Cleanliness

• Follow cleaning schedules
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and empty wastebaskets
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment

Supporting Residents

• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts to supply storage areas
• Keep each area tidy
• Communicate and relate to residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees

Requirements:

• Currently read, write, speak and understand English
• Have compassion and interest in working with the senior population
