Housekeeper – Assisted Living & Memory Care Columbia Place Assisted Living & Memory Care – Portland, OR Are you someone who takes pride in keeping a space clean, organized, and welcoming? Columbia Place Assisted Living & Memory Care is looking for a dependable and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team! As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. You will help maintain resident apartments, common areas, and other spaces throughout our community while working alongside a team dedicated to providing excellent care and service. What You'll Do Clean and maintain resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areasKeep our lobby, restrooms, floors, handrails, windows, mirrors, and other public areas clean and welcomingSweep, mop, dust, and remove dirt and debris throughout the communityEmpty trash and replace linersClean and maintain high-touch and frequently used surfacesKeep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitarySafely use cleaning products and equipment according to manufacturer instructionsUse appropriate safety practices, including caution/wet floor signageMaintain awareness of resident safety while working throughout the communityReport resident safety concerns or maintenance issues to the appropriate departmentMonitor housekeeping supplies and communicate when items need to be replenishedWork independently while also supporting your fellow team membersProvide friendly and respectful service to our residents, families, and visitors What We're Looking For We're Looking For Someone Who Is Dependable and takes pride in their workFriendly, respectful, and comfortable working around seniorsAble to manage their time and stay organizedComfortable working independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented and committed to maintaining a high standard of cleanlinessAble to communicate effectively with coworkers and leadershipAble to safely use housekeeping supplies and equipmentPrevious housekeeping experience is preferred; senior living, assisted living, or healthcare experience is a plus Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferredAbility to read and follow written and verbal instructionsBasic math skillsAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to safely lift and/or move up to 25 poundsAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform routine housekeeping tasks throughout the shift Why Join Columbia Place?
