Housekeeper

About the role

Piedmont Post Acute is an 88-bed skilled nursing facility in Piedmont, South Carolina. We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors throughout the facility
• Empty trash and replace liners regularly
• Clean surfaces including walls, windows, mirrors, and fixtures
• Sanitize high-touch areas such as handrails and equipment
• Follow all infection control and safety procedures
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized manner
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Ensure a welcoming and respectful environment for residents and visitors

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, reliable, and customer-service-focused attitude
