Housekeeper

Schedule: Full Time Wed – Fri 9 am–5 pm and Sat–Sun 7 am–3 pm

Pay

$16.00 – $18.00 per hour – based on experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Clean public areas and residents’ apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
• Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas
• Perform all housekeeping duties, following a cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor
• Clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas

Requirements

• One year of related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job training preferred
• Able to operate cleaning equipment such as mangle, iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc. as required
• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job required
