Housekeeper

About the role

Pennybyrn is seeking a part-time and full-time Housekeeper to join their innovative, inclusive, and compassionate life-enriching community in High Point, NC. Hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, disinfecting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing and changing linens within apartments, cottages, and common areas.
• Performing other duties as assigned based on resident and department needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in environmental services within hotels, retirement communities, or home cleaning services.
• A service-oriented, outgoing personality with a willingness to go above and beyond.
• A passion for taking pride in one’s work.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cleaning experience in hotels, businesses, residential, or healthcare environments.

Skills

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Strong communication skills.
