Housekeeper

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Palm Garden of Mattoon. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential and commercial spaces while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces, to ensure a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Manage housekeeping responsibilities to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards, maintaining a clean and organized environment for clients and guests.
• Launder linens, towels, and other items as needed, adhering to quality standards and ensuring prompt turnaround times.
• Conduct floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide responsive and friendly customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and building strong relationships.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate needs to management, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
• Follow safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and equipment, prioritizing employee and client safety.

Requirements

• Experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred, with a focus on attention to detail and quality of work.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus, with the ability to work independently or with a team.
