Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Obtains list of units and spaces that need to be cleaned, organizing priorities as appropriate.
• Performs quality cleaning of rooms, units, and common areas within set time limits and goals.
• Completes daily paperwork.
• Maintains cleaning equipment and materials, reporting any items needing repair to supervisors.
• Responds to owners, guests, and others regarding housekeeping issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required; less than one-year related experience and/or training; or acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands

• Frequently stands, walks, hears, uses hands, reaches, climbs, stoops, and kneels.
• Seldom lifts and/or moves objects up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision.
• The employee must be able to work at a fast pace for extended periods of time in a high-pressure environment.
• Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions, wet, hot, or humid conditions, chemicals or solutions, fumes or airborne particles, and moderate noise conditions.
• Seldom exposed to high or precarious places.

Work Environment
