About the Role

Our resort on the stunning shores of Lake Superior is seeking a Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. You'll ensure that all guest rooms and common areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and comfort. If you have passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail, we want you on our team!

Essential Functions

• Organize & Prioritize: Obtain a list of units and spaces to be cleaned and organize your tasks efficiently.
• Quality Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, units, and common areas within set time limits and goals.
• Guest Interaction: Respond to owners, guests, and others regarding housekeeping issues.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Less than one year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to stand, walk, hear, use hands, reach, climb, stoop and kneel.
• Seldom required to talk and taste and/or smell.
• Must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace for extended periods of time in a high-pressure environment.

Work Environment

• Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions, wet, hot, or humid conditions, chemicals or solutions, fumes or airborne particles and moderate noise conditions.
• Seldom exposed to high or precarious places.
• May be required to work varying schedules that reflect the business needs of the resort.
• Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
