The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of College buildings, including classrooms, offices, lounges, restrooms, hallways, and other public or common areas.
Responsibilities
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting
- Periodically scrubbing floors, washing windows, and shampooing carpets
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Experience in housekeeping/custodial desirable
- Ability to carry out assigned responsibilities independently in the absence of direct supervision and follow oral and/or written directions required
- Ability to set work priorities and establish positive rapport with coworkers also required
- Background clearances including FBI Fingerprint, criminal history and PA child abuse required
Schedule
- Shift/s will be determined based on coverage needs
- This position requires occasional evening and weekend hours to assist with special events
