Housekeeper
This is a full-time, seasonal position for the Summer 2026 season (April through the beginning of November).
About The Role
Resort Housekeepers ensure guest rooms and common areas are cleaned to high standards, well-stocked, and guest-ready each day. This role is essential to ensuring the resort consistently delivers an exceptional stay. You’ll work in a supportive, multicultural environment where teamwork, efficiency, and a positive attitude are key. Successful housekeepers take pride in their work, stay focused in a fast-paced setting, and contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities
- Making beds
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Dusting
- Vacuuming
- Restocking amenities
- Reporting maintenance issues
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Work Ethic: Reliable, motivated, and able to complete tasks independently and with a team
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow cleaning procedures and maintain consistent quality
- Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs., standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Professional Traits: Friendly, respectful, and able to interact positively with guests and team members
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly
- Location Requirement: Must be able to live and work on Mackinac Island during the season
