About the role

Merakey is a non-profit provider of developmental, behavioral health, and education services. More than 8,000 employees provide support to nearly 40,000 individuals and families throughout 12 states across the country each year.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax, dust, vacuum, and other general cleaning tasks all floors
• Scrub and disinfect toilet doors daily and clean drinking fountains, urinals, toilet bowls, and other fixtures daily using such materials as will keep them in a clean and sanitary condition
• Wash all windows on both the inside at least twice each year
• Report immediately any damage to property, giving whenever possible the names of persons responsible
• Participates in Merakey Human Services quality improvement/quality assurance activities
• Attends all required Merakey and DPW training. Receives 12 hours of training annually
• Interacts with residents in a professional and solution focused manner
• Perform other duties as directed by the Program Administrator

Requirements

• Mental Health experience is preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required
