Housekeeper

Job Summary

We are now hiring a Housekeeper/Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This position offers a competitive salary range of $17.50-$19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties in residents' rooms, including vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in common areas of the facility.
• Transport clean and soiled linen to the laundry area.
• Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions.
• Be responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions while adhering to all safety precautions, established standards, and quality guidelines.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for all.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Must be able to perform duties following all county, state, federal, and California Department of Public Health infection and sanitation codes and guidelines.
• Experience with minor repairs and ability to assemble furniture and paint touch-ups is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
