About the role

Meadowlark is seeking a highly skilled RN, HIM Leader & MDS Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in managing the health information management (HIM) department and overseeing the Medical Documentation Standards (MDS) process.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the HIM department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Manage the MDS process, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve HIM processes and patient care outcomes.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to HIM staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• At least 5 years of experience in HIM or related field.
• Experience with MDS and other healthcare documentation systems.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
