About the role

The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for both residents and staff at MBK Senior Living. This position is vital in ensuring the safety and comfort of all community members.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Cleaning & Upkeep: Perform daily cleaning tasks in apartments, common areas, and offices, focusing on surfaces, fixtures, windows, floors, and carpets.
  • Hazard Mitigation & Waste Management: Ensure safety signs are posted and removed as needed, and regularly collect and dispose of trash and waste.
  • Safety Protocols & Supply Management: Adhere to safety standards and maintain a secure environment by using appropriate PPE and safely storing supplies.
  • Operational Readiness & Workspace Management: Keep workspaces tidy and ready for use, storing equipment and tools after use.
  • Resident Service & Professional Image: Provide courteous and professional service, greeting residents warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understand and comply with relevant regulations and company policies, reporting any issues to supervisors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred.
  • Age 18 or older.
  • Completed background checks, health screenings, and negative TB tests.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
