Housekeeper

About the role

This is a full-time position at Marklund's Wasmond Center in Elgin, IL. The hourly rate for this position is $15.25/hour with a schedule of 6a-2p. 5-days a week and rotating weekends with 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sweeping throughout the facility.
• Assist with laundry tasks such as sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and other household items.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas and resident rooms.
• Ensure safety and security of the facility by following established procedures and reporting any issues to management.
• Follow all policies and procedures related to the care of residents and the maintenance of the facility.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write English.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

No experience is necessary, training will be provided.
