About the Role
As a Full-Time Housekeeper at The Joseph, a Forbes Four-Star Luxury Collection Hotel in Nashville, you will ensure every guest room and public area reflects the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation. Your work plays a vital role in creating memorable stays and upholding the luxury experience our guests expect.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms, suites, and assigned public areas according to Forbes Four-Star standards and hotel brand expectations.
- Make beds, replace linens and towels, replenish guest amenities, and ensure each room is beautifully presented.
- Vacuum, dust, sanitize, and clean bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces with exceptional attention to detail.
- Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and readiness before guest arrival.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items promptly and accurately.
- Restock housekeeping carts and maintain an organized supply of linens, amenities, and cleaning products.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
- Handle guest requests with professionalism, warmth, and a sense of urgency.
- Work collaboratively with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and fellow Housekeeping team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Maintain productivity standards while never compromising quality or attention to detail.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, hospitality, or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining luxury-level cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Positive attitude and dedication to providing outstanding guest service.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale hospitality environment preferred.
- Familiarity with Forbes or AAA luxury service standards is a plus.
- Bilingual skills are an asset but not required.
