About the role
Join a lively and passionate housekeeping team at Mad Swans in the South Downs, a countryside hangout for mavericks offering a range of social spaces including Padel Tennis, Pickleball, Darts, Shuffleboard, and Golf.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and re-setting Cabins
- Changing bed linen and towels
- Stocking and maintaining an inventory of housekeeping supplies
- Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Scrubbing and sanitising showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops and sinks
- Vacuuming/mopping all areas including public areas
- Reporting breakages, damages and safety issues for repairs
- Positively engaging and interacting with guests
- Aiding guests with any questions and queries
- Handling guest feedback and resolving issues promptly
- Building rapport with regular guests
Requirements
- Detail oriented
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Passionate about delivering excellent guest service
- Comfortable working in clusters of Cabins which are spread out
- An excellent communicator
- Organised and able to multi-task
- Happy to be hands-on and assist with the day-to-day duties as part of a small team
- Highly motivated
- Solutions driven
- Proactive, positive, and resilient by nature
- Comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- You must be eligible to work in the UK as we are unable to sponsor any work permits or visas.

Pay
Earnings are £11.65/hour to £13.50/hour, including TRONC (Tips & Service Charge), and are depending on age.
Schedule
Shift times will vary throughout the week; however, the operational times will be from 7.00 am to 4.00 pm. Working days will depend on if you work full-time, part-time or weekend. Full-time members of the team will be required to work any five days out of seven and will involve working on weekends on a regular basis. Working hours will vary in line with the operating calendar and needs of the business.
