Housekeeper

About the role

As a Housekeeper at Hudson Hospital, you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This important role supports infection prevention by cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas according to hospital standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas according to hospital standards
• Support infection prevention efforts
• Work independently and effectively communicate with coworkers, leaders, and others across the organization
• Operate housekeeping equipment, including floor care equipment
• Manage time and tasks efficiently

Requirements

• Able to read, write, and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English
• Able to learn and operate housekeeping equipment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic level computer proficiency and ability to use email for department communications

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Previous housekeeping, healthcare, or hospitality work experience preferred
