About the role
Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join the team at Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna. Located at 10890 S. 208th Street, Gretna, NE 68028, this full-time position operates Tuesday–Saturday from 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Dust, vacuum, sanitize, and clean furniture, fixtures, flooring, resident spaces, and common areas.
- Complete routine, project, and emergency cleaning as needed.
- Maintain assigned cleaning schedules and document or report damage in apartments and common areas.
- Keep public areas, corridors, offices, and shared spaces clean, organized, and clutter-free.
- Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment, carts, and supplies.
- Notify leadership of supply and inventory needs.
- Follow proper chemical-use procedures and ensure chemicals are secured when not in use.
- Empty trash, restock cleaning carts, and prepare supplies for the next shift.
- Assist with watering and pruning live plants in assigned areas.
- Partner with Maintenance and promptly report safety, repair, or facility concerns.
- Build positive, professional relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality, hotel, senior living, healthcare, or similar experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- A friendly, respectful, and service-oriented approach with residents and families.
- Ability to manage priorities and remain calm when needs shift.
- Dependability, strong follow-through, and a positive attitude.
- Comfort using cleaning equipment, supplies, and technology efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or environmental services training preferred.

- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Pay
