Job Purpose

Perform day‑to‑day housekeeping functions as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day housekeeping functions as assigned.
• Cross‑train to back up the Laundry Department when needed.
• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
• Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner.
• Adhere to all current regulations governing nursing facilities.
• Develop a friendly, helpful rapport with residents.
• Maintain the confidentiality and rights of all residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform day‑to‑day housekeeping functions as assigned.
• Willingness and ability to cross‑train to back up the Laundry Department when needed.
• Capability to carry out specific tasks according to daily work assignments.
• Commitment to keeping assigned work areas clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive.
• Knowledge of and adherence to regulations governing nursing facilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop a friendly, helpful rapport with residents.
• Understanding of and respect for the confidentiality and rights of all residents.
