About the role
Join our team at Caretta Senior Living as a full-time Housekeeper.
Schedule
Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day. Can be flexible with start and end times.
Responsibilities
- Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart
- Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule
- Assure resident apartment and laundry are clean and sanitized as scheduled
- Maintain inventory for daily needs & notify supervisor of supply issues
- Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean, and safe
- Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner
- Cleaning duties includes but not limited to:
- Vacuuming hallways, elevators, and furniture
- Washing inside glass doors and windows
- Sweeping and/or mopping floors
- Cleaning and stocking supplies in restroom
- Dusting
- Rubbish/trash removal
- Seasonal duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience
- Ability to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in the resident’s best interest
- Ability to motivate oneself and work independently
- Ability to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak, and understand English
