About The Role As a Housekeeper in our 40 Housekeeping department, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all hotel guests. This hourly, part-time position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and can complete cleaning tasks efficiently within set timeframes. You will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and common areas to established standards, ensuring that every space is safe, tidy, and ready for use. No prior housekeeping experience is required; we are looking for reliable, punctual individuals who are willing to learn and uphold our commitment to exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. What You'll Do Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established hotel standardsPerform detailed cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing linens, making beds, and replenishing amenitiesComplete assigned room and area checklists within required time limits while maintaining high quality standardsInspect rooms and areas for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and presentation, reporting any concerns to the supervisorHandle guest rooms and belongings with care and respect, maintaining privacy and security at all timesProperly use and maintain cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment in a safe and organized mannerFollow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper chemical handling proceduresCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team members about room status, supplies needed, and any issues encounteredRespond to guest requests courteously and promptly, escalating issues to management when neededMaintain a neat and professional appearance and adhere to uniform and grooming standardsSupport the housekeeping team with additional cleaning tasks or special projects as assigned Qualifications English language skills sufficient to follow instructions, safety guidelines, and basic communication with team members and guestsAbility to pay strong attention to detail and maintain high standards of cleanlinessComfort with detailed cleaning tasks, including repetitive and physically active workAbility to complete cleaning responsibilities within defined time limits without sacrificing qualityReliable and punctual, with a consistent record of showing up on time for scheduled shiftsAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift light to moderate loads for extended periods during a shiftWillingness to follow established procedures, checklists, and safety protocolsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision as well as cooperatively as part of a teamFlexible and adaptable to changing priorities, room assignments, and guest needsNo prior housekeeping experience required; training will be provided
