Housekeeper

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Housekeeper to join our team at a large senior living community in [INSERT LOCATION]. Our housekeepers keep residents' living areas clean and serviced to high standards, resolve resident complaints promptly and politely, and demonstrate respect for each resident’s rights, dignity, and individuality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a stocked cleaning cart with needed items.
• Clean (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, scrub) assigned resident apartments and common areas daily according to facility procedures.
• Respect resident privacy and preferences regarding room arrangement and personal items, including knocking before entering.
• Seek resident cleaning methods within reason.
• Dispose of trash, waste, and other materials safely, using identified precautions for any contaminated materials.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and respect for the rights, dignity, and individuality of each resident in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in house, office, or hotel cleaning preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning product instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Record of punctuality and reliability.
