Housekeeper

Your Work Matters How will you make a difference? Are you a Housekeeper looking for a rewarding and challenging role in psychiatric care? Chicago Behavioral Hospital is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper provides completes daily housekeeping routines such as cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas while ensuring a safe and risk‑preventative environment within The Joint Commission, CMS, State, and OSHA standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks of patient room, office and public areas.
• Vacuum, dust, mope, sweep, and take out the trash.
• Ensure that adequate linens are kept in the facility.
• Clean areas with disinfectants.
• Refill supplies (paper products, soap, etc.).
• Assure that supply closets are kept clean and orderly.
• Keep cleaning supplies and equipment safely stored when not in use and away from patient access when in use.

Requirements

• Preferably one (1) year experience in housekeeping field.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

Pay

Compensation This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range for this role is $17.00 - $20.00 an hour.

Schedule

Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 6a - 2:30p, including every other weekend
