Housekeeper

Caswell Developmental Center is a residential campus located in Kinston, North Carolina, providing comprehensive services and supports to approximately 300 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, complex behavioral needs, and/or significant medical conditions whose clinical treatment requirements exceed the level of care available in community settings. The facility serves individuals across the Eastern region of the state.

About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to perform housekeeping duties within an assigned area of the facility in accordance with an established work schedule. Responsibilities encompass all aspects of housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Schedule

6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., including rotating weekends.

Pay

Salary range: $31,200.00 – $46,991.00.

Responsibilities

• Perform all housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
• Follow established cleaning procedures, techniques, and special applications required in assigned areas.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work.
• Ability to spend long periods reaching, bending, standing, and walking.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
• Valid NC Driver’s License (preferred).
• General knowledge of cleaning procedures and techniques.
