Essential Job Functions
- Sweep, dust, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, shampoo/spot clean carpets, clean windows, office space, dormitories, and other assigned rooms.
- Clean, mop, scrub, polish, and disinfect showers, stalls, toilets, sinks, faucets, etc.
- Follow appropriate and safe chemical use when cleaning.
- Maintain a sufficient supply of materials (e.g. tissue, soap, etc.) in assigned areas.
- Empty trash and garbage containers in assigned areas.
Other Responsibilities
- Generate work orders for needed repairs.
- Complete minor repairs if possible (change lightbulbs, tighten screws, maintain vacuums, etc).
- Other duties, as assigned.
ADA Requirements
- Continuously Walk, Stand, Pull, Push, Reach, in all directions, Grasp, Squat, Lift up to 25 lbs, Complete repetitive motions for an extended period of time.
- Frequent Bending, Kneeling, Climbing stairs, Climbing ladders.
Environmental Conditions
- Continuously work with chemicals.
- Occasionally work with fumes, gasses, odors, and/or dust.
- During academic schedule, work alone in assigned areas.
- During summer months, frequently work with others.
- Occasionally work alone.

Requirements
- Position requires wearing of a uniform (provided), protective gloves (provided), 'full' shoes and socks (must provide for self; no sandals or open-toed/heeled shoes).
- Position requires a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record and personal means of reliable transportation to various buildings on campus, with proof of vehicle insurance.
- Applicants must be available when needed (i.e., Family Weekends, prep for Summer Programs, prep for school year opening, etc) and able to work overtime when necessary.
