Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
• Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and surfaces, ensuring all areas are free from dirt and debris.
• Follow detailed oral and written instructions to complete assigned cleaning schedules and special projects.
• Handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently, including reaching overhead areas and managing waste disposal.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to speak and understand English to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Manual dexterity to handle cleaning tools and perform physical tasks.
• Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
• Basic mathematical skills to measure cleaning supplies and complete simple computations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and use of specialized cleaning equipment.
• Certification in cleaning safety or related training.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
