Our Housekeeping team plays an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home for our residents. We're looking for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work, and enjoys being part of a caring team.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning resident rooms and common areas
• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms
• Emptying trash and maintaining assigned areas
• Restocking housekeeping supplies as needed
• Following infection-control and safety procedures
• Helping ensure our residents have a clean and comfortable place to call home
• Following established housekeeping guidelines and quality assurance standards
• Maintaining cleaning schedules for assigned area
• Coordinating routine/terminal isolation procedures with Nursing Services
• Maintaining knowledge of safety regulations, policies and procedures and following the established safety procedures and precautions
• Reporting all unsafe/hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc. to supervisor immediately
• Honoring the residents’ personal and property rights
• Filing complaints/grievances with supervisor in a timely fashion

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective housekeeping practices within the State of Indiana
• Ability to be a team player to partner with other departments
• High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required

Schedule

Weekends | 4 PM‑8 PM
