Housekeeper

About the role

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the facility, including resident/patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas by following policies/procedures and infection control guidelines. Completes resident discharges and prepares the room for next admission. Ensures all areas are properly stocked with items such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Operates and cares for all housekeeping equipment including vacuums, housekeeping carts, carpet cleaning machines, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident/patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, shower and bathing areas.
• Follow policies/procedures and infection control guidelines.
• Complete resident discharges and prepare rooms for next admission.
• Ensure areas are stocked with soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Operate and care for housekeeping equipment (vacuums, housekeeping carts, carpet cleaning machines, etc.).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience in a healthcare setting.

Pay

$16.85 - $17.71 per hour
